The walk about handheld unit consists of a Psion industrial PDA type device running SensusRead software and will collect information on single meters fitted with pulse transponders across a site at a range of 100-200m within buildings.

• Sensus Scout is a 868MHZ bidirectional radio system flexible in topology and application
• Specially developed for meter reading it allows data to be collected such as total consumption, revere flows, information reporting leakage and broken pipe detection, as well as monthly values
• Data is transferred from the handheld unit to a PC via a docking station and may be presented in a number of ways for general monitoring or further processed for billing
